I've seen our CW Signature basses touring the world
and recording multi-million selling albums.

After many months of development a new variation of Chris' bass has now emerged.
Please note : We will not currently be producing or taking orders for the previous models.

This new 'CW-2' Signature still retains all the original Status design features :

Classic Status body shape.
Woven graphite or woven 'chrome' body facing.
Three-piece bolt-on, graphite reinforced, rock maple neck.
Custom CW Status 18 volt EQ with variable mid frequency.
Status custom-wound and positioned CW soap-bar pickups.
Solid brass CNC machined hardware.
34" scale Richlite Phenolic fingerboard.
Dual-action truss-rod.

Available with four and five strings, headed or headless.
Front LEDs are a custom option.

All basses, pickups and circuits are still designed and
made in our workshop here in Colchester, England.

Both the neck and body are finished in a smooth, durable satin lacquer.
Woven graphite and 'chrome' facings are available.

Original Status pickups and EQ
Solid brass CNC milled mono-rail bridge units

New to all models is a unique graphite reinforced, bolt-on, maple neck.

Our unique design and construction results in the sonic qualities being
virtually the same as our original graphite moulded necks.

Three pieces of hard rock maple are selected and bonded together.
The maple is sliced and glued so any natural movement is counterbalanced which makes it both rigid and stable. Two graphite rods are then set under the Richlite phenolic fingerboard
either side of the dual-action truss-rod.

Each neck is individually fitted to a solid hardwood body.
This means a tighter fit for better sustain and sonic response.

Both the neck and body are finished in a smooth, durable satin lacquer.

All basses, pickups and circuits are still designed and made
in our workshop here in Colchester, England.

The CW-2 bass features original Status soap-bar pickups and a custom EQ
which has been fine-tuned to deliver Chris' huge sound.

A master volume works at all times in conjunction with the pickup blend
and treble / bass controls.

The midrange frequency and amount of cut / boost can be pre-set
ready to be switched in at any time.

18 volts are used to power the circuit and ensure plenty of headroom.
A side jack socket and black hardware are fitted as standard.

The CW Signature bass is available as a 4 or 5 string, headed or headless.
